Serving Those Who Served: Best Practices for Working with Veterans
Presenter: Robert Wysocki
Date: Mon, March 23, 2026
Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
If you serve veterans—or want to serve them better—this upcoming training is designed for you. Join us for a powerful and practical session on best practices for working with veterans, where we'll explore how to assess the size and needs of the veteran population in your community, clarify what meaningful support truly looks like, and define a clear path forward for engagement. You'll gain insight into the distinct roles, missions, and functions of each branch of the U.S. military through an informative presentation, learn how to navigate difficult conversations with confidence and respect, and participate in a live Q&A with an experienced practitioner who has worked closely with veterans for the past nine years. Walk away with practical resources, deeper cultural understanding, and actionable strategies to more effectively engage and support those who have served.
Robert Wysocki is a Service-Disabled U.S. Marine Corps veteran with more than 15 years of active duty as a counterintelligence specialist serving in Southwest Asia, the Pacific, and the Caribbean. After navigating visible and invisible injuries from his service, Robert found profound healing through therapeutic horsemanship for veterans with PTSD and TBI—an experience that reshaped his life and leadership path. Today, he blends more than two decades of experience in intelligence, executive leadership, and professional training with advanced certifications in equine-facilitated learning, trauma-informed and narrative coaching. A qualified Eponaquest Instructor and seasoned leadership developer, Robert integrates the wisdom of horses with proven change models to help individuals and organizations strengthen critical thinking, resilience, and authentic leadership from the inside out.
